This conference will present effective strategies and lessons learned in preventing resident‑to‑resident abuse in long‑term care settings. Attendees will explore practical approaches for identifying risk factors, implementing preventive interventions, and fostering safer environments for vulnerable residents. In addition, the conference will provide an overview of the history and evolution of ethical compliance programs in long‑term care. Participants will learn about common scenarios in which a facility’s required compliance program may be audited, along with guidance on maintaining readiness, meeting regulatory expectations, and supporting an organizational culture of ethics and accountability.
